Speaker - Facilitator

Angela connects with her audience through her lived experience, sharing what’s helped along the way and what’s really challenged her. 

Over the last few years, Angela has been speaking at various events across Queensland and New South Wales sharing her story of acquiring a brain injury in 2012, in the hope that it betters another survivors life, as well as playing a part in helping Allied Health support workers understand their clients better.

Angela is  focused on supporting the Brain Injury Community (the survivor, and those that support them, professionally and personally) and specifically those that are living in the regional and remote areas of Eastern Australia.

Support Staff Training

The fabulous team at Yumba Bimbi, Emerald, QLD, will be trained by me, Angela K, on June 18th on Validation & Language and the key role these play in providing tailored, quality care to those with a Brain Injury. This 2 hour workshop is hands on, interactive and aims to provide Support Staff with the skills to provide enhanced, specialised care. Isn't it fantastic to have a Regional Team so keen to support us!
